Box.net launches integration & unlimited storage for Salesforce CRM |
|
Box.net is a web-based storage service that allows businesses to share, manage and access their content online (documents, media and other files). Today they've announced integration with Salesforce CRM, which means that Salesforce users will be able to use all their content on box.net within the Salesforce CRM platform.
Salesforce CRM has a large user base which most likely will benefit from this integration, however this will incur additional costs. Box.net usually charges $15/user/month for a business account, and most likely these costs are the same for Salesforce CRM users (or maybe they offer a discount, haven't been able to find that information yet, but I know for sure that the amount they can store is unlimited).

OracleŽ VM Templates for Siebel CRM On Demand just released |
|
Oracle just annouced the release of Oracle® VM Templates. These templates allow deploying a fully configured Oracle CRM software platform by providing pre-installed and pre-configured images of the CRM On Demand software. The templates are very useful especially for large organizations where the costs for installation and configration of Siebel CRM On Demand are high - by using the Oracle VM Templates, administrators simply copy the images from the server (with Oracle VM installed) and use them to have a fully installed and configured Oracle environment. This beats the hell out of installing CRM On Demand from scratch.

Ever right-clicked in a received email on the From or To email address or name in MS Outlook? If you have smart tags enabled in Outlook then you've seen for sure an annoying menu called Additional Actions that when clicked showed No Additional Actions found. Well, after some research, I was able to find out how to add items to that list.
