Oracle® CRM On Demand goes mobile. On March 11, 2008 the Oracle Mobile Sales assistant for Oracle CRM On Demand was released. This crm assistant works currently only on BlackBerry (wireless platform developed by Research In Motion). Oracle® Mobile Sales Assistant is designed to help users collaborate "on the run" by giving the choice of managing tasks, appointments, contacts and communicate through calls, emails or text messages.
Oracle Mobile Sales Assistant's main features:
- Customer relationship management on the road - using it you can share contact information, set up tasks and appointments, manage leads and opportunities and communicate with your colleagues or customers through the BlackBerry device while being on the road.
- Quick overview of current tasks - with the mobile sales assistant you can get an overview of what you have to do in that particular day: call or meet a customer, see involved contacts or the tasks you have to perform in that particular day.
- Increase productivity - by having the possibility of accessing your crm information from anywhere (as long as you have the device and coverage) you can be more productive. It also comes with a quick "recent list" display that shows the contacts, leads, opportunities and accounts depending on the frequency they were accessed
- Avoid synchronizing nightmares - the BlackBerry device that has Oracle mobile sales assistant loaded doesn't need to be synchronized with the other computer you have CRM On Demand installed on to make sure everything is updated, because it offers integration of PIM and CRM data and direct access to the master database.
Oracle Mobile Sales Assistant is developed on the Java platform and works on BlackBerry® OS 4.2 for the following devices: BlackBerry® 8800, 8820, 8830, BlackBerry® Curve 8300, 8310 and BlackBerry® 8700, 8703e, 8707.
Oracle Mobile Sales Assistant is delivered as a service and is available for Oracle CRM On Demand customers for $30 per user per month.
